A 50-year-old man wanted for fraud and theft was apprehended in Far East El Paso on Tuesday.
According to the El Paso County Constable Office Precinct Three, Reymundo Estrada was detained following a tip that led to a surveillance operation in the 14200 block of Bluesky Point Court.
Estrada, whom the Constable’s Office stated has a history of similar arrests and offenses, was captured by deputies after being witnessed entering a car at the address.
Estrada had outstanding criminal warrants for the following:
- Three counts of fraudulent use/possession of identifying information
- Two counts of theft of property ($2,500 – $30,000)
- One count of false statement to obtain property/credit ($2,500 – $30,000)
The total bond for these charges was set at $150,000.
According to jail records, the allegations come from an incident in May 2021.
Estrada was still detained on Tuesday afternoon, according to jail records.
