Three teenagers were arrested after Baltimore police reported that one of them displayed what seemed to be a rifle during a series of crimes at a downtown convenience shop.
According to Baltimore police, the incident occurred on May 10, about 6 p.m., at a convenience shop in the 500 block of North Charles Street.
Police claimed three male suspects entered the store many times and stole a variety of products. Before departing for the final time, police said one of the suspects exhibited what seemed to be a firearm and knocked down things and equipment inside the store.
The suspects, aged 14, 17, and 18, were immediately apprehended in the 500 block of Light Street with the assistance of Foxtrot (Aviation) and Entertainment District cops, according to police.
Officers seized a Gel Ball Blaster-style gun (Orbeez) from the 18-year-old suspect.
The 17-year-old was sent to the Juvenile Justice Center and charged.
The 18-year-old was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged.
According to police, the 14-year-old was brought into jail but then released to his parents.
