LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a Sunday shooting.
Officers took 51-year-old Brent Ross into custody without incident around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Police were initially called to the area of 17th and Gallagher Streets at about 1:12 a.m. on April 26 following reports of a shooting in the California neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his 40s with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police said officers applied a tourniquet at the scene before the victim was transported to a hospital, where he was expected to survive.
