Louisville woman charged with attempted murder months after shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 30-year-old woman from Louisville has been charged with attempted murder and first-degree robbery seven months after a shooting near Shively.

Louisville Metro Police said officers responded on the night of Sept. 28, 2025, to the 3300 block of 7th Street Road, just north of Berry Boulevard, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to UofL Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

At the time, LMPD reported that there was no suspect information available.

On Friday, however, officers arrested Katrina Mohamed and charged her in connection with the shooting.

She is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
