Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a man is behind bars facing multiple child pornography charges.
According to an affidavit, deputies became aware of a sensitive incident involving child pornography on February 25.
As the investigation progressed, a juvenile told authorities that the suspect—later identified as Hayden Dodson—had shown them child pornography.
During a search, deputies discovered around 70 images or videos of child sexual abuse material on his cell phone.
Deputies also reported that, while reviewing Dodson’s computer, detectives found approximately 86 additional images of child sexual abuse material.
Authorities arrested Dodson and booked him into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
He now faces 10 counts of possession of child pornography and a charge of providing obscene material to a minor.
