Man Shot Multiple Times in Louisville’s Russell Neighborhood, Police Report

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police reported that a man was shot multiple times Thursday night in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded at approximately 8:49 p.m. to a shooting call in the 1900 block of West Market Street.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police stated that officers provided aid until EMS arrived, after which he was transported to UofL Hospital.

Authorities said his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is currently handling the investigation, and no suspects have been identified so far.
