Kentucky — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating an escaped inmate identified as Angela S. Long.
According to the Kentucky State Police, Long, 45, escaped from a re-entry facility in Owensboro on the evening of April 10. She was last seen leaving the facility and getting into a black car.
Officers in Henderson are assisting in the search. Police have not released additional details about how the escape occurred.
Authorities described Long as a white woman with long straight brown hair and blue eyes. She is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light blue T-shirt, and gray sneakers.
Long was serving a sentence related to theft and substance abuse charges. Records show she was convicted in November 2024 in Hart County for an offense committed in September 2023.
Police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency or KSP Post 16 at 270-826-3312.
