LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Jefferson County Coroner has identified the man who died in a shooting in the Taylor Berry neighborhood on Wednesday.
Officers responded to a reported shooting around 10:50 p.m. in the 900 block of Algonquin Parkway on April 8.
When they arrived, police found a man who had been shot. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as Desmond L. Mitchell, 37. Officials determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound and ruled the manner of death a homicide.
