CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) – Police accused two people of stealing from a JCPenney and leading officers on a chase in Clarksville.
Police said Jalisa Box and Shannon Pruitt stole about $1,000 worth of merchandise from the store and assaulted an employee as they left.
Officers located the pair’s car, after which they sped through downtown New Albany, crossed the Sherman Minton Bridge, and entered Louisville.
Police eventually stopped the vehicle and arrested both individuals.
They now face multiple charges, including robbery, felony theft, and reckless driving.
