LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Louisville’s Park DuValle neighborhood.

Police responded just before 5:30 p.m. on March 26 to a reported shooting in the 1500 block of South 30th Street, according to LMPD spokesperson Officer Adam Sears.

When officers arrived, they found two victims — a 17-year-old boy and an adult man — both suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to UofL Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Court documents identify Darryl Goodwin as one of the victims.

Investigators said a stolen firearm was recovered near the scene, and video footage allegedly shows Goodwin holding the weapon.

Goodwin is now charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property (firearm).

According to court records, Goodwin was among four juveniles who escaped from the Mayfield Youth Detention Center in 2024 before being located a few hours later.

He was sentenced as an adult on Feb. 11, 2025, to four years in prison for fleeing or evading police and criminal mischief. Records show he was granted parole on Dec. 1, 2025, in Jefferson County.
