LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured at the Burger Boy diner in the Old Louisville neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police responded to reports of a shooting at the restaurant around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who had both been shot in the leg.

Authorities said both victims were transported to a hospital and are expected to survive.

The case is being handled by LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit.
