MIDDLETOWN, Ky. —
A fire at an assisted living facility in east Louisville has left two people hospitalized.

Officials with Anchorage-Middletown Fire & EMS said they responded Sunday evening to a structure fire at the Arcadia Senior Living complex on Blankenbaker Parkway.

When crews arrived, they encountered an active fire and quickly worked to contain it while evacuating residents.

One person received treatment for minor smoke inhalation, while another was treated for a separate medical condition.

More than 60 residents live in the building affected by the fire, and AMFEMS Chief Pat Walsh confirmed that officials have accounted for all of them.

Authorities have asked families to gather at Southeast Christian Church to reunite with their loved ones.

The church is located at 920 Blankenbaker Parkway.
