KENTUCKY — Authorities arrested several individuals following a drug trafficking investigation in Montgomery County.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted multiple traffic stops on Tuesday, leading to the arrests of three people. Julian Piersawl, 29, Keisha Powell, 37, and James Brown, 37, each face charges of fentanyl trafficking and engaging in organized crime.

In a separate traffic stop, deputies also arrested 63-year-old Donald Chaplin. He faces charges of driving under the influence and trafficking methamphetamine.

Officials said the arrests are part of ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal drug activity in the community.
