Police say a man and woman are in the hospital receiving treatment for their injuries.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person died after a fatal crash in Lyndon, Ky., on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Lyndon Police Department, just before 2:15 p.m., Lyndon police officers, along with Middletown police and St. Matthews Fire and EMS, responded to an injury crash at North Hurstbourne Parkway and Ormsby Station Road.

Officials pronounced a man dead at the scene. Emergency crews transported a woman and another man to UofL Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Lyndon Police also confirmed that a dog died as a result of the crash.

Lyndon Police are investigating the crash with assistance from LMPD’s Traffic Unit.
