LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman is in custody after Louisville Metro Police Department officers uncovered what authorities describe as a chop shop at a Highview residence.
The investigation began Tuesday when SWAT officers responded to a home in the 7500 block of Michael Drive. Inside, officers found multiple stolen vehicles with parts removed and vehicle identification numbers (VINs) altered.
Police also discovered a RAM truck that was allegedly being used to transport other suspected stolen vehicles.
Officers arrested Amanda Guerrero at the scene. She faces several charges, including engaging in organized crime, receiving stolen property and trafficking stolen vehicles.
Her bond has been set at $50,000 cash.
