One person arrested following drug bust in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A 41-year-old woman from Tyner was arrested Monday after a narcotics investigation in Jackson County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers executed a search warrant at a property on Jackson Drive in the Tyner community as part of an investigation into illegal drug activity. During the search, authorities reported finding fentanyl, other unspecified drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested Felicia Potter at the scene and charged her with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (unspecified drug); third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (unspecified drug); and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

Authorities lodged Potter in the Jackson County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
