COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 12-year-old boy critically injured in Covington.
Officers responded around 4:49 p.m. to the 4300 block of McKee Street near East 43rd Street. When they arrived, they found the child suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency crews transported the boy to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The Covington Police Department said no suspects have been detained. However, investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
