LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A boy was shot early Sunday morning in the Park Hill neighborhood.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded just after 4:30 a.m. to a reported shooting in the 1400 block of Standard Village Circle.
When officers arrived, they found a boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Police provided first aid until EMS crews arrived. Paramedics then transported the boy to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
During their investigation, LMPD determined that the shooting was accidental.
