LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A woman faces assault charges after police said she struck a doctor while receiving treatment at Jewish Hospital.
Police arrested Megan Gregory on Thursday, Feb. 12, after they said she hit a doctor on the side of her face and tried to scratch her neck during treatment at Jewish Hospital. The arrest report states the attack caused visible injuries to the doctor’s left eye, bottom lip, and neck.
According to police, when a security officer stepped in, Gregory also struck her, leaving a visible injury beneath the officer’s left eye.
Gregory faces one count of third-degree assault.
