LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in connection with a non-fatal shooting involving a local DJ that occurred in November 2025.
Police arrested Theodore Freeman on Saturday, Feb. 26, in connection with a shooting that happened Nov. 1, 2025, in the 1700 block of Berry Boulevard in LMPD’s Fourth Division.
According to investigators, Freeman fired multiple rounds at Stefon Dixon during an argument while Dixon was working as a DJ at an event. Police said Freeman walked away from the altercation, retrieved a gun, and then returned and fired several shots. Dixon was struck once in the stomach.
Dixon was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries. He survived.
Freeman was booked into the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on charges of first-degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and an unrelated warrant out of New Albany, Indiana.
He is expected to make his initial court appearance Monday.
