Louisville police search for missing 15-year-old last seen near Greenbelt Highway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 15-year-old girl.

Police issued an Operation Return Home alert Wednesday afternoon for Melody Williams. She was last seen Monday, Feb. 2, in the 7600 block of Ashby Landing Drive, off Greenbelt Highway in Louisville.

According to LMPD, Williams walked away from her residence and has not been in contact with her family. Police said she is also without her daily medication.

Williams is described as having brown eyes and black hair. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds.

Anyone with information about Williams is asked to call LMPD’s anonymous Crime Tip Line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or submit a tip through the department’s anonymous Crime Tip Portal.
