One man killed, another hospitalized after Shively shooting

The shooting happened around 3:20 a.m. in the 2800 block of 7th Street Road.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One man was killed and another was injured following a shooting in Shively early Monday morning.

According to Sgt. Jordan Brown with the Shively Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting outside Club 7 in the 2800 block of 7th Street Road around 3:20 a.m. When police arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

One man, believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Several bullet casings were visible in the street, and the front of the building was damaged by multiple bullet holes.

Brown said no suspects have been identified.
