LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville’s airport will offer three new nonstop routes starting in May, expanding travel options for the region.
Natalie Chaudoin, spokesperson for Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, announced that Breeze Airways will begin nonstop flights to Hartford, Connecticut; Los Angeles, California; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“With today’s announcement, we are adding nonstop service to two new markets from SDF with Pittsburgh and Hartford, along with continuing to offer more options to the West Coast with Los Angeles,” said Dan Mann, executive director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, which owns and operates the airport. “We appreciate Breeze’s recognition of the strength of our market and expanded presence in Louisville, giving travelers even more options.”
With these additions, SDF now offers a record 41 nonstop destinations, Chaudoin said.
Mayor Craig Greenberg called the development a “huge win for Louisville.” He noted that new nonstop flights signal economic momentum, showing demand from business travelers and making the city more attractive to companies considering operations in Louisville.
Breeze Airways also currently offers nonstop service to Charleston, South Carolina; Fort Myers, Florida; New Orleans, Louisiana; Morrisville, North Carolina; San Francisco, California; and Tampa, Florida.
Officials said Louisville travelers can fly to Los Angeles starting May 6, to Pittsburgh on May 7, and to Hartford on May 29.
