LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville police are urging drivers to move vehicles off emergency snow routes on Friday before the incoming winter storm.

Officials stressed that keeping these routes clear allows crews to plow streets and ensures police, EMS, hospitals, and other emergency services can travel safely.

Louisville Metro Police shared a map and list of emergency snow routes. While vehicles won’t be towed to the impound lot, police will move them to the nearest area off the route before the snow begins.

“If you elect to keep your car parked on an emergency snow route, may the odds be forever in your favor,” LMPD said on social media.
