A man was rushed into surgery Thursday morning after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, Louisville Metro Police said.
Officers were responding to a call around 12:15 a.m. on Jan. 22 in the 2500 block of Crop Street when the victim approached them, reporting that he had been shot.
Emergency services transported him to UofL Hospital, where he was taken directly into surgery. Police said he is expected to survive.
No suspects have been identified at this time. LMPD is asking anyone with information to contact the department’s anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
