Double shooting leaves 1 dead and 1 in critical condition in Northwest Miami-Dade, authorities say

A double shooting at an adult entertainment venue in Northwest Miami-Dade left one person dead and another in critical condition on Saturday.

The shooting occurred in the 3600 block of NW South River Drive.

Officials said Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded early Saturday morning and discovered two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported both victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, where one of them was later pronounced dead.

A preliminary investigation found that a fight broke out outside the establishment, and gunfire erupted, striking both individuals.

MDSO detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
