Kentucky man killed in two-vehicle crash in Obion County

A two-vehicle crash in Obion County claimed the life of a Kentucky resident late Friday afternoon.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 71-year-old Robert Lee Williams Jr. was killed in the crash, which occurred on U.S. 51 North at Bethlehem Road.

Troopers said Williams Jr. was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry when it collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram driven by 51-year-old Brian McPeak of Tennessee.

Highway Patrol reports indicate that both vehicles were traveling on U.S. 51 North at the time of the crash.

A passenger in the Williams vehicle, 71-year-old Angelique Hill of Kentucky, was injured.

The report stated that both Williams Jr. and Hill were wearing seat belts.

Authorities also said Brian McPeak, along with 39-year-old Heather McPeak and a 12-year-old passenger, were all wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and were not injured.
