KENTUCKY — A man is facing several charges after a traffic stop Tuesday evening in Scottsville, according to the Scottsville Police Department.

Officers initiated the stop around 7 p.m. after pulling over a Dodge pickup truck driven by Timothy R. Pedigo, 66, of Adolphus, for a traffic-related violation. During the stop, police conducted an investigation and determined Pedigo was in possession of methamphetamine and an open container of alcohol.

Pedigo was charged with speeding, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), no registration plates, no registration receipt, operating with an expired operator’s license, and possession of an open alcohol container.

Police said Pedigo was taken into custody and later released from the Allen County Detention Center. No further details were released.
