Shelby County Government Building Closed After Bedbug Infestation

The Shelby County Clerk’s Office and the Property Valuation Administrator’s (PVA) Office have been closed until further notice following a bedbug infestation at the County Annex building in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

According to Shelby County Judge Executive Dan Ison, the infestation was discovered at the County Annex building located at 501 Washington Street, prompting immediate closure of the affected offices.

At this time, officials have not announced when the offices will reopen or when treatments will be completed.
