Beef, Pork and Goat Products Recalled Nationwide Under Highest-Risk Warning

More than 150,000 pounds of raw pork, beef and goat products have been recalled across the country.

Star Meat Delivery Inc. is recalling about 167,639 pounds of raw pork, beef and goat products after producing them without federal inspection and packaging them with a false USDA inspection mark, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said Tuesday.

The Lucama, North Carolina, company sent the products in bulk to a Georgia distributor, which then shipped them to retail stores and restaurants nationwide.

The recalled products include ground pork, chorizo, pork chops, pork ribs and feet, beef ribs and oxtail, goat cuts and other meat items sold under the A&D Foods label.

Retailers may have repackaged the products and placed store-applied stickers on them instead of the original product label, federal officials said.

The USDA classified the recall as Class I, its most serious designation.

Consumers should not eat any products bearing the establishment number “EST. 1363.” Officials said the number does not belong to a federally inspected facility, and the USDA considers the products misbranded and unsafe.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service said the products were produced on various dates before Sept. 22, 2026, and vacuum-sealed in cardboard boxes.

The agency continues to review the products and could add more items to the recall.

No illnesses or injuries have been confirmed. However, the USDA said meat produced without inspection may contain harmful bacteria, undeclared allergens or other contaminants.

Consumers, retailers and restaurants should discard the products or return them to the place of purchase. A list of product labels is available on the USDA recall page and in the agency’s label document.
