Police say a 70-year-old man from England who was reported missing on Friday morning has been found.
The man, who has cognitive difficulties, was last seen leaving the Langham Hotel at 250 Franklin St. and is thought to be in the neighborhood of the FIFA Fan Fest at City Hall Plaza. Police were able to track him down near Downtown Crossing around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday but were unable to locate him.
Around 1 p.m. Friday, Boston police issued an update on X, deleting the missing persons notice and stating that the man had been recovered.
No further information was offered.
