On June 15, the Northborough Police Department received a complaint of a missing 42-year-old man. Officers from Northborough, Shrewsbury, and the Massachusetts State Police began a search for the individual.
A Massachusetts State Police canine discovered the missing man, who had died, near Shrewsbury at 2:30 p.m. The body was discovered in a forested location near Valente Drive and Hartford Turnpike, the entrance of the YMCA Boroughs Branch.
Detectives from the Northborough Police Department, Shrewsbury Police Department, and Massachusetts State Police are conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.
The man’s identity has not been disclosed.
