Brooklyn Park boy located safe after being reported missing

UPDATE Monday 1 p.m.: Police say that Jayceon Rogers has been located safe and is “now at home with his family.”

ORIGINAL: A 10-year-old boy from Brooklyn Park went missing after visiting family in north Minneapolis on Sunday.

The Minneapolis Police Department is appealing the public for assistance in locating Jayceon Rogers, who was visiting family in Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon before going missing. He was last spotted around 5 p.m. on the 2500 block of 6th Street North.

Jayceon stands roughly 4’6″ and weighs 80 pounds. He has brown eyes and black dreadlocks with red and orange tips. “He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and beige jogging pants,” MPD stated.
