$3.1 million N.Y. lottery ticket sold in West Village

A winning ticket for Saturday’s $3.1 million New York Lottery Lotto jackpot was sold at Players Cafe on Bleecker Street in Manhattan.

The ticket matched all six numbers: 08, 10, 18, 26, 54 and 55. The winner can choose an estimated cash value of $1.5 million.

This is the second straight month someone has won the Lotto jackpot. A $9.8 million winning ticket was sold at a location in Groton, Tompkins County, on May 2. That prize was claimed by a couple from Groton, who announced last week they would split the winnings evenly.

The odds of winning the New York Lottery’s Lotto jackpot are 1 in 45,057,474.
