A Canton, Ohio, man was apprehended Saturday afternoon with the plan to rape three-, six-, and nine-year-old children in Toledo.
According to court documents, Stephen White, 31, went to an undisclosed location at 12:45 p.m. after speaking with an undercover cop, believing he was going to have sexual contact with the alleged children.
White was arrested and charged with three charges of attempted rape against people under the age of thirteen.
White was the subject of an investigation that included a month’s worth of text chats with an undercover cop across two platforms.
White is scheduled to appear in Toledo Municipal Court on Tuesday, May 26, for arraignment.
