The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has revealed the identity of the woman discovered deceased near the Great Miami River on April 30.
Shannon Ayles, 50, died at 4:38 p.m. after being discovered near the 400 block of North Bend Boulevard in Dayton. As previously reported, officers responded to the River Corridor Bikeway near East Helena Street for a report of a person down.
The specifics surrounding this incident are yet unknown.
The Dayton Police Department is still investigating the incident.
