Officials identified the individuals as 60-year-old Ruby Daniels of West Liberty and 50-year-old Ricky Roark of Manchester.

Investigators said deputies smelled suspected marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, which led to a search.

During the search, authorities found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and a used clear pipe.

Daniels and Roark were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.

Authorities transported both to the Knox County Detention Center.
