LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — The Louisville Metro Department of Transportation is seeking public input to support its freight mobility action plan.
The department hosted an open house Tuesday, inviting residents to share concerns and experiences related to truck traffic in their neighborhoods. For those who could not attend, the city has extended the deadline for an online survey.
City leaders will use the plan to guide regulations on where large trucks can travel throughout Louisville.
Officials say the goal is to lessen the impact of heavy truck traffic in residential areas.
The survey is currently available and will remain open through March 6.
