Shamone Haggard, Dwight Haggard and Kenneth Roberson were arrested Tuesday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police arrested three people as part of a major narcotics investigation.

Officers took Shamone Haggard, Dwight Haggard and Kenneth Roberson into custody Tuesday.

According to LMPD, detectives received tips that several suspects were distributing large quantities of narcotics and had recently accepted a shipment of multiple kilograms of cocaine.

During a traffic stop involving one suspect, officers discovered individually packaged baggies of cocaine. A subsequent search of a residence led investigators to nearly two and a half kilograms of powder cocaine, multiple handguns and evidence indicating drug activity connected to two additional locations.

Searches at those locations uncovered more narcotics, firearms and paraphernalia consistent with a large-scale drug trafficking operation.
