LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday in the Portland neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 2500 block of Crop Street around 12:15 a.m. after a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds approached them.
The victim was transported to the hospital by first responders and required surgery. Police said he is expected to survive.
The investigation is being handled by LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit.
