LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man is facing multiple charges in connection with a shooting at a neighborhood lounge that left four people injured earlier this month.

Ezekiel C. Dean, 32, was arrested Monday and appeared in court Tuesday on charges of assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. The charges stem from a Jan. 4 shooting at Lenny’s Lounge in the Klondike neighborhood. A judge set Dean’s bond at $250,000 full cash.

Louisville Metro Police officers were called to the 3700 block of Klondike Lane around 5:32 a.m., where they encountered what was described as a chaotic scene. Two young adults were found suffering from gunshot wounds at the location.

Police said two additional victims transported themselves to local hospitals but were later rerouted to UofL Health Hospital. The victims included three young adults between the ages of 18 and 21, along with a 17-year-old.

At the time of the shooting, one victim was reported to be in critical condition. Police have not released any updates on the victims’ current conditions.
