A new Chick-fil-A restaurant has received approval in Cold Spring as part of continued commercial growth along Alexandria Pike in Northern Kentucky.
The Cold Spring Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the proposal during its meeting last week. The Chick-fil-A is planned for Cold Spring Pointe, just off U.S. 27. Plans call for a 5,146-square-foot sit-down restaurant with 70 indoor seats and 16 outdoor seats, along with a double-lane drive-through and a bypass lane aimed at improving traffic flow. Developers plan to begin the process in the spring, with an opening targeted for the fall.
Publix and Five Below are already under construction at the Cold Spring Pointe site.
Along with the Chick-fil-A, the commission also approved two additional drive-through restaurant projects within the Cold Spring Town Center development along Alexandria Pike.
One is a Gold Star Chili location at 3801 Alexandria Pike, featuring a 2,623-square-foot building with indoor seating and a drive-through. The other is a Seven Brew Coffee location at 3729 Alexandria Pike, which would include a small prefabricated building, drive-through service, and a conditional use permit for limited outdoor seating.
These new establishments would join McAlister’s Deli and First Watch at the front of the site, with Cincinnati Children’s and The Christ Hospital Health Network located farther back from Alexandria Pike and accessible via Industrial Road.
