LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – LMPD announced Monday that a man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred in Beechmont in December.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of East Wellington Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the arm.
On Friday, LMPD arrested 30-year-old Ismael Delgado-Guitierez near New Cut Road and West Kenwood Drive in connection with the incident. Delgado-Guitierez faces charges of first-degree assault and receiving stolen property.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 20.
