Man fatally shot in Parkland neighborhood, LMPD Homicide investigating

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police say an adult male was killed in a shooting Wednesday night in the Parkland neighborhood.

Officers from LMPD’s 2nd Division responded around 10:43 p.m. to the 1000 block of S. 29th Street, where they found the victim unconscious and not breathing. Officers provided life-saving measures until EMS arrived.

The victim was transported to University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting and following leads. No arrests have been reported.
