Louisville Arson Investigating After House Fire in Park DuValle Neighborhood

No injuries were reported after a house fire in the Park DuValle neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

According to a news release, Louisville firefighters were called around 1:45 a.m. to the 1600 block of Hemlock Court. The location is off West Gaulbert Avenue, near Wilson Avenue and West Hill Street.

Crews arrived about four minutes later and found heavy fire coming from the attic of a 1.5-story home. Firefighters searched the house while working to extinguish the flames, but no one was inside.

It took 25 firefighters about 10 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Louisville Metro Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
