LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Two area law firms have announced plans to pursue damages from UPS following the deadly crash of UPS Flight 2976.
Morgan & Morgan has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of three plaintiffs and others potentially affected by the crash. Their clients include:
-
A woman who lived near the crash site and suffered injuries after inhaling toxic smoke.
-
Triple D, Inc., an automotive repair business located in the wreckage path, which was completely destroyed, including all machinery, vehicles, and other assets.
-
Ensey LLC, which owns nearby property that was damaged by chemical contamination.
Both affected properties are located on Phillips Lane, near the crash site.
Meanwhile, Whiteford Taylor & Preston, in partnership with Kentucky-based Peterson Law, announced they are representing several Kentucky families of the injured and deceased.
Their clients include Grade A Recycling and its employees, who are suing for damages after the building was directly struck by the plane.
Authorities and legal teams continue to assess the full extent of property damage, environmental impact, and potential negligence claims.
This remains a developing story.
