HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Kentucky’s Fall Forest Fire Hazard Season will begin on October 1.

Kentucky Natural Resources announced that the season will run through December 15. During this time, burning or setting fire to flammable material is prohibited between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. within 150 feet of woodlands or brushlands.
