2 Formally Charged In Narcotics Dealing Case

Two men have been formally charged in a drug-dealing investigation.

According to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office, Antoine Harris, Sr., 38, and Antoine Harris, Jr., 19, have been charged with conspiracy to trade in narcotic drugs. The narcotic medications, including fentanyl, have a street value ranging from $68,000 to $200,000.

A multi-month Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force investigation resulted in the recovery of about 2.6 pounds of fentanyl and one pistol.

The prosecutor’s office claims Harris Sr. and Harris Jr. were linked to the narcotics enterprise after detectives made controlled cocaine purchases in August and September of this year, followed by weekly trash pickups on Apache Drive. These trash pick-ups turned out fentanyl, cocaine residue, and a large amount of packaging materials.

According to court records, Harris Jr. informed investigators that Harris Sr. attended on a daily basis to package pills while wearing latex gloves and surgical mask.
