IMPD said three people were assaulted by a man with a knife in downtown Indianapolis Wednesday.
Around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of a man armed with a knife hitting and slashing people on N Pennsylvania St. near the Veterans Memorial Plaza.
The suspect was put into custody.
Medics also arrived to the area and treated at least three people. One person was transported to the hospital with a laceration.
