Local and federal agents said that over $1 million and 50 pounds of cocaine were confiscated during a crime operation in Pasadena.
The Drug Enforcement Agency’s Galveston squad collaborated with Houston and Pasadena police. Investigators believe the funds came from drug sales.
According to the DEA, collecting those proceeds helps to destabilize the criminal operations behind the drug trade.
The post did not mention any arrests or where the seizure occurred.
The DEA’s Houston branch also reported the seizure of 20 pounds of cocaine and four pounds of fentanyl during a traffic check on I-45 last week. Approximately $100,000 in cash was also seized.
